On February 6, Zelda has finally taken a year.
I wanted it to be a special party, although very intimate. I bought gifts, made the cake for us and searched for thousands of recipes on the internet to make a cake for Zelda. I was looking for something unique, original and above all extremely healthy. So, a little by chance, I came across the Facebook page of DogCookies, an Italian brand truly amazing!
It is a real bakery for dogs born in 2011 which deals to pack biscuits, cakes, lollipops and even macarons using only natural ingredients and absolutely healthy for our loyal friends. Needless to say that the eye wants its part, since every dessert is a true masterpiece! One of the features that I liked the most (besides the aesthetics, of course!) was the ingredients list. In DogCookies' products there is absolutely nothing that can hurt our friends, neither corn (to which Zelda is super allergic!). In place of the chocolate it is used carub cream and instead of chemicals, which are commonly found in animals cakes in markets, DogCookies uses only products from the earth. So, even if your dog is diabetic, at least for his birthday he will satisfy a whim!
Another feature in my opinion very very funny, is the originality with which this brand offers itself. For each holiday, DogCookies launches a special edition really delightful. Here are some of their masterpieces:

Il 6 febbraio, Zelda ha finalmente compiuto un anno.
Ci tenevo che fosse una festicciola speciale, anche se molto intima. Ho comprato i regali, preparato la torta per noi "bipedi" e cercato mille ricette su internet per preparare un dolce anche per Zelda. Cercavo qualcosa di unico, di originale e soprattutto estremamente salutare. Così, un po' per caso, mi sono imbattuta sulla pagina Facebook di DogCookies, un brand italiano veramente sorprendente!
Si tratta infatti di una vera e propria pasticceria per cani nata nel 2011 che si occupa appunto di confezionare biscotti, torte, lollipops e persino macarons, utilizzando solo ingredienti naturali e assolutamente non dannosi per i nostri fedeli amici. Inutile dire che anche l'occhio vuole la sua parte, poiché ogni dolcetto è un vero e proprio capolavoro! Una delle caratteristiche che ho apprezzato di più (oltre all'estetica, s'intende!) è stato l'elenco ingredienti. Nei prodotti DogCookies non è presente assolutamente nulla che possa far male ai nostri beniamini, nemmeno il mais (al quale Zelda è super allergica!). Al posto del cioccolato, viene utilizzata la crema di carrube e al posto dei prodotti chimici, che si trovano comunemente nei dolci per animali in commercio, DogCookies utilizza esclusivamente prodotti della terra. Quindi, anche se il vostro cane è diabetico, almeno per il suo compleanno potrà togliersi qualche sfizietto!
Un'altra caratteristica a mio avviso molto molto divertente, è l'originalità con cui questo marchio si propone. Ad ogni festività, DogCookies lancia delle edizioni speciali a tema veramente graziosissime. Ecco alcuni dei loro capolavori:

Ma poteva finire qui? Chiaramente no, perché infatti DogCookies è anche impegnato nel sociale! Per ogni leccornia venduta, una parte del ricavato viene devoluta a F.I.B.A. (Federazione Italiana Benessere Animale).
